Your drive to the park will take you through the picturesque Ugandan countryside, passing through rolling hills, local villages, and stunning landscapes. Along the way, enjoy the views of the Rwenzori Mountains in the distance, offering a perfect photo opportunity.
If you arrive early enough, you can opt for an evening game drive in Queen Elizabeth National Park. This is the perfect time to spot nocturnal animals and watch the wildlife as they become more active during the cooler evening hours.

After lunch, head to the southern part of the park for an exciting boat cruise on the Kazinga Channel, a natural waterway that connects Lake Edward and Lake George. This is one of the best spots for wildlife and birdwatching in the park.

Elephants: Often seen drinking water along the banks.
Hippos: Large pods can be spotted floating or emerging from the water.
Crocodiles: Lazing in the sun along the shores.
Water Birds: Watch for colorful species such as pelicans, kingfishers, and herons.
Buffaloes and Antelopes: Commonly seen coming to the water to drink.
The boat cruise provides a unique perspective of the park’s wildlife, and the cool breeze on the water adds to the experience.
Your final day on this safari offers one last thrilling wildlife experience—chimpanzee tracking—before heading back to Entebbe for your flight.
After an early breakfast, you will head to the forest for an unforgettable chimpanzee tracking experience.
Arrive at the park headquarters for a briefing session on the tracking experience.
You’ll be divided into small groups and assigned an experienced park ranger guide.
The tracking experience lasts around 3 hours, depending on the movement of the chimpanzees.
Once you find the chimpanzees, you will spend a full hour observing them in their natural habitat.
Along the way, you may also spot other primates like colobus monkeys, vervet monkeys, and red-tailed monkeys, as well as colorful bird species.

Wear comfortable hiking shoes as the forest trails may be uneven.
Carry enough drinking water to stay hydrated.

After completing your chimpanzee tracking adventure, you will embark on your journey back to Entebbe.
